Saturday Spotlight: Friendsgiving #1- Aurora’s End

This month’s Saturday Spotlight theme is Friendsgiving and this week I’m talking about “Aurora’s End” by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. This is a wonderful conclusion to a trilogy with the best found family!

It’s time for a new Saturday Spotlight theme! This month’s theme is Friendsgiving!

This week I am talking about Aurora’s End by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff!

This is the third book in the Aurora Cycle trilogy, and I think this is when the whole group really came together! Our main group had been together since the first book, but I feel like this was the book when they realized just how much they cared about each other. I love this whole series, and this ending was everything, mainly because of the friend group. There were some couples in this book, and one couple that I had been waiting three books to get together finally did, which I loved. I loved how all the characters realized just how much they care about each other. They were all willing to sacrifice for and protect the others, and I just really love this friendship. This group is so much fun to read, and I truly love all of them!

Is this the end?
What happens when you ask a bunch of losers, discipline cases, and misfits to save the galaxy from an ancient evil? The ancient evil wins, of course.
Wait. . . . Not. So. Fast.
When we last saw Squad 312, they were working together seamlessly (aka, freaking out) as an intergalactic battle raged and an ancient superweapon threatened to obliterate Earth. Everything went horribly wrong, naturally.
But as it turns out, not all endings are endings, and the team has one last chance to rewrite theirs. Maybe two. It’s complicated.
Cue Zila, Fin, and Scarlett (and MAGELLAN!): making friends, making enemies, and making history? Sure, no problem.
Cue Tyler, Kal, and Auri: uniting with two of the galaxy’s most hated villains? Um, okay. That, too.
Actually saving the galaxy, though?
Now that will take a miracle.
