About

Welcome to The Bibliophile’s Bookshelf!

I’m Ariel, a dog owner, sister, college student, and library volunteer.

I found the book series that got me into reading in elementary school and haven’t stopped reading since. I read just about everything from romance to sci-fi to contemporary to fantasy. I typically stick to YA and middle grade books but will venture to adult books every now and again. I typically read clean romance, and I try to avoid books with graphic violence.

Some of my favorite books are These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater, The Four Kingdoms by Melanie Cellier, I Hope This Doesn’t Find You by Ann Liang, and The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen.

The Bibliophile’s Bookshelf has reviews, book lists, and more! The Bibliophile’s Bookshelf will primarily be used to share my thoughts about books, but from time to time I will share movie recommendations and reviews, as well as recipes. The characters are my very favorite part of any story, so most of my reviews focus on the characters more than anything else!

My goal for this blog is to share books that I love. I want to help people find their books, the one that will inspire them to keep reading. It’s my goal, for this blog and my life, to share the power of reading.

Happy reading!
