Princes, Dragons, and Sushi is a sweet, cozy novella with romance, dragons, and Japanese culture!
I really liked this book! It was super cozy and a quick read, while having an adorable romance!
This romance was childhood friends to lovers, and it was really cute! I love Alec and Danielle together. Part of their story was the fact that they hadn’t seen each other in five years because he was serving in the military. I loved this inclusion, and I really loved the storyline of Alec struggling with how he had changed while fighting. It was moving, and the fact that everyone accepted him and didn’t treat him any different was lovely.
I loved the dragons! They were a decent part of the story, and I am really excited to see more of them in the future. I also liked how there were two different types of dragons: the Western dragon that I am more familiar with, and the dragons that are typically found in Japanese mythology. I loved being introduced to Japanese culture in this way.
The other way we were introduced to Japanese culture through this book was the food! I am a big foodie, and I love when stories focus on new foods. I have never had sushi, but I loved how it was talked about in this book, and the way the characters shared their foods with each other.
I really loved the world-building and mythology of this book! It was really interesting and engaging, and I loved how it was done!
The characters were amazing and I loved all of them! I am very excited for Koto and Hannah’s story in the next book! I loved both of the characters so much; they brough some levity to the story and were just overall a lot of fun!
Princes, Dragons, and Sushi is such a cozy story with an adorable romance, cute dragons, and Japanese-inspired world-building!
