Top Ten Tuesday: Books for Armchair Travelers

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is Books for Armchair Travelers. With ten books exploring countries outside of the US and cultures, these are wonderful books to explore the world. Featured titles include “Patron Saints of Nothing,” “Refugee,” and “Model Misfit!”

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s theme is Books for Armchair Travelers!

I love a book that explores other parts of the planet and the amazing cultures there are! All of the books on my list take place in countries outside of the U.S. and I really enjoyed all of them!

Here’s my Top Ten:

Model Misfit by Holly Smale- Japan

All That Glitters by Holly Smale- Morocco

If You Could See the Sun by Ann Liang- China

There You’ll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones- Ireland

Heist Society by Ally Carter- Global adventures

Darius the Great is Not Okay by Adib Khorram- Iran

Refugee by Alan Gratz- Germany, Cuba, and Syria

We Are Not from Here by Jenny Torres Sanchez- South America

Wish Upon a K-Star by Kat Cho- South Korea

What books have you read that take place in other countries?
