Top Ten Tuesday: The First Ten Books I Randomly Grabbed from My Shelf

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is The First Ten Books I Randomly Grabbed from My Shelf. Some of the books selected include “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm,” “Eclipse,” and “Cress!”

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is The First Ten Books I Randomly Grabbed from My Shelf.

My sister decided to help with this one, and we closed our eyes and randomly pointed at ten books. I am excited to share the books that were chosen and I will share if I have read them and if I enjoyed them!

Here’s my Top Ten:

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm by Deanna McFadden

I have read this book and recently reread it to my sister. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I realized I was very similar to Aunt Martha.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber

I have read this book, and it is one of my favorite series! I will always love this story and the amazing characters!

A Thousand Heartbeats by Kiera Cass

I have read this book, and it is one of my more recent books. I enjoyed it, though it was a little long.

Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer

I have read this book, though it was years ago. I liked it well enough, but I love the movies so much!

The Golden Princess by Melanie Cellier

I have read this book, and I adored it! This is an Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves retelling, and it was so, so good!

The Princess Game by Melanie Cellier

I have read this book, and it was one of the best Sleeping Beauty retellings I have ever read! (I have more books by Melanie Cellier on my shelf than any other author, so that is why there are two books by her on my shelf!)

Stellarlune by Shannon Messenger

I have read this book, and I think it is the second-best book in the series! This book marked a big change in the main character, that I adored!

The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielson

I have read this book, and I love it so much! Definitely one of my cozy reads!

The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I have read this book, and I enjoyed it. It isn’t something that I usually read but I found it intriguing.

Cress by Marissa Meyer

I have read this book, and it is definitely my favorite book in the Lunar Chronicles! Cress and Thorne will always have my heart!

What are your thoughts on these books?

I enjoyed all the Twilight books but preferred them to the films which I found were too dark to see all the action in places. Especially the later films.

I’ve read that whole Jennifer Nielsen series and I enjoyed it overall even though it’s not really my genre. I like her books for the most part.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
