Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Spring 2025 TBR Pt. 2

Continuing from last week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme, I continue sharing some books that I would like to read this spring including rereads and retellings.

It’s another Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and this week I am continuing the theme from last week.

You can find last week’s post here.

I have so many books I want to read this spring, and I hope I am able to read most of them.

Here’s my Top Ten:

The Selection series by Kiera Cass

The Selection is one of my favorite romance series. I haven’t read it in years and I am so glad I’ve decided to carve out time to reread it. The Selection is one of comfort reads and one of my favorite series to read during spring!

A Thousand Heartbeats by Kiera Cass

Despite loving The Selection series, I haven’t read any of her other works. This one is super intriguing to me and the one I am most excited for. It has enemies to lovers, royals, and politics- all of things that I love!

The Betrothed duology by Kiera Cass

I don’t know much about this duology, but I want to read all of Kiera Cass’s books. This one sounds interesting, but the Goodreads reviews are not the best. I am going into this hoping for an easy, relaxing book for spring! (And the cover is really pretty!)

The Siren by Kiera Cass

I would love to read more books about sirens and mermaids. I grew up loving Emily Windsnap and this book sounds similar to those books but YA. I am super excited to read more mermaid books!

Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly

I read this book years ago and really enjoyed it. One of my reading challenges I am participating in is fairytale retellings. One of the prompts is a villain perspective, and Stepsister is from the perspective of Cinderella’s stepsister. I hope I like this book as much as I remember liking it!

Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

I am always looking for retellings. This book has been on my radar for years and this year is the year I am finally going to read it! I don’t know much about Peter Pan or Tiger Lily, so I am excited to further my knowledge of this classic.

Divine Rivals duology by Rebecca Ross

I have only read the first book in this duology and really liked it. I think this duology is perfect to read during the spring weather!

Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson

I have never read Brandon Sanderson. I have heard many things about his books and how good they are, but I have never read them. I actually really love the covers for the Skyward series and love a good sci-fi book.

Aurora Rising series by Amie Kaufman

I loved Amie Kaufman’s Illuminae series, and I loved it. I have seen some things for this series, and it sounds right up my alley with found family and sci-fi. I am so excited!

The Daughter of the Pirate Queen by Tricia Levenseller

I have read these books once before and I really loved them. I was in a little bit of a book slump at the time of reading these and these books knocked me out of it. I will probably read these closer to summer, because these scream summer vibes to me, and May is a month that feels the most like summer to me.
