It’s another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s theme is Books on My Spring 2025 TBR List Pt. 1. I am breaking this into two parts because I don’t have any ideas for next week’s theme.
This list will also have ten books in it, and hopefully so will next week’s, because I am a quick reader, and I have lofty goals.
Here’s my Top Ten:
A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal
I am currently reading her Sands of Arawiya series and couldn’t resist grabbing this book. I am super excited to dive into this story and I have heard nothing but great things about it.

The Wrath and the Dawn duology by Renee Adihieh
I love these books too much. I read them a number of years ago and have been meaning to return to them, and I finally checked them out from my library. I am super excited to come back to this series and then maybe I’ll stop mentioning them constantly!

The Princess Protection Program duology by Alex London
I have a theme going right now- retellings. When I saw these books sitting on the shelf, I was immediately drawn to them. Instead of leaving them there and reading books I have sitting on my shelves, I grabbed them and made my grand escape. I was just pursuing reviews of these books and they’re not great, but they might be the perfect books to read as I go from spring break into a new semester!

Sister’s Ever After series by Leah Cypess
Again, I had a billion library and personal books sitting on my shelves waiting to be read and I went ahead and checked out four more books. These one’s actually sound really cute. The books take popular fairytales and add little sisters in it, and the story takes place after the events of the fairytales.

A Twisted Tale Anthology edited by Elizabeth Lim
I have read many of the Twisted Tale books and generally enjoyed all of them. I was super excited to learn of this book because it adds a different twist to the Disney movies that have already been twisted.

Greenwild by Pari Thomson
I don’t know too much about this book, just that the cover caught my attention. From my understanding, it is about a girl who is trying to find her mother and is being chased and escapes into a magical world. Somebody is trying to destroy this world and she must safe it.

Hamilton and Peggy!: A Revolutionary Friendship by L.M. Elliot
Hamilton is coming to town next week and my parents got me tickets for my birthday back in September. I decided that the best way to prepare for seeing the musical was by reading a Hamilton book.

Geek Girl series by Holly Smale
I absolutely love the tv show by the same name but have struggled getting access to the books. My library originally ordered them back between August and October and just last week got the third book. I am excited to read these and am hoping I am able to read them all at once.

The Four Kingdoms series by Melanie Cellier
I am super excited for these books! I was hoping to read these books over spring break, but I don’t think I will be able to, but I hope to read them sometime during April. I am super excited to read these clean romance books!

These Violent Delights duology by Chloe Gong
I have only read these once and am super excited to come back to this story, especially since I have the sequel series. I wasn’t quite sure when I would read it, but I keep seeing things pop up for it on Pinterest, so I know it’s going to be soon!

Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts?
