This week’s theme is a freebie, so I choose to share some the books I wished got more attention.
As always, Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl.

Here’s my Top Ten:
The Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter
I read this book series recently, and I really liked it. It has a wonderful story, that isn’t too heavy. I loved the characters, and the plotline!

Heist Society by Ally Carter
This was my introduction to Ally Carter and lead me to read the rest of her books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series and I love the thief found-family genre.

Embassy Row by Ally Carter
This series was amazing. My favorite Ally Carter series, it dealt with more serious issues but in a really well done way. I know I mentioned this series last week, but I really enjoyed it and wish more people would read it.

Septimus Heap by Angie Sage
I just finished this series last week, and it is about wizards and family. I personally liked it more than Harry Potter! Super good book and more accessible for younger readers.
Golden, Belle, and Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey
These are three different books, but all part of the same series. Golden is a retelling of Rapunzel, Belle is Beauty and the Beast, and Beauty Sleep is Sleeping Beauty. These are all retold in creative, unique ways the I loved.

The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale
The Books of Bayern start with The Goose Girl, which is a retelling of the fairytale the goose girl. It then has three sequels: Enna Burning, River Secrets, and Forest Born. I have loved this series for years and reread them last year, they are just as good now as they were when I was a kid.

Renegades by Marissa Meyer
This is one of the only super-hero books I have ever read. It wasn’t too action or battle heavy, which I loved. It had a background plot of romance, and it had some lovely friendships and family dynamics.

The Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore
The first movie, I am Number Four, was made into a movie years ago, but I don’t think it got a lot of attention. I really enjoyed the books, though I read them years ago. I am hoping to reread them in 2025. I also really loved the sequel series, which surprised me.
What books do you wish more people would have read?
