Top Ten Tuesday: Books About/Set in Places on My Bucket List

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is Books About/Set in Places on My Bucket List. Places I want to travel to include Shanghai, Spain, and Ireland, with featured titles being “Patron Saints of Nothing,” “His Face is the Sun,” and “Warcross!”

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s theme is Books About/Set in Places on My Bucket List

I struggled with this prompt. I’m kind of a homebody and I primarily read fantasy books, so I struggled picking books that I have read that take place in a real place. Despite the fact that I don’t travel much, there are many places I want to go!

Here’s my Top Ten:

There You’ll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones- Ireland

His Face is the Sun by Michelle Jabes Corpora- Egypt

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater- West Virginia

Warcross by Marie Lu- Japan

Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale- Mongolia

These Violent Delight by Chloe Gong- Shanghai

Patron Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay- Philippines

A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow by Laura Taylor Namey- England

The Fountains of Silence by Ruta Sepetys- Spain

The Healer’s Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson- Germany

Have you read any of these books?
