This month’s Saturday Spotlight theme is Cozy. The books I have shared so far include Heather Fawcett’s Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries, Kanehito Yamada’s Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Chloe Gong’s Last Violent Call, and J.M. Stengl’s Feathered Thief. You can find these posts here, here, here, and here.
The final cozy book I’m sharing is My Happy Marriage by Akumi Agitogi.
This book is a nice companion to the anime. It really complements it and provides much needed background. Though the anime also provides some helpful context. This book is just really cute and sweet. It has a little action, with some supernatural abilities. It has lovely side characters, and has a sweet, developing romance. This is a really cozy read, perfect for the busier times in life.

Born to a noble family, Miyo is raised by her abusive stepmother and married off to Kiyoka, a soldier so heartless his prior fiancées fled within three days into their engagement. With no home to return to, Miyo slowly starts to open her heart to her cold and pale husband-to-be, despite their rocky introduction… This might just be her chance at finding true love and happiness. – summary from Goodreads
