Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Think Will be Classics One Day

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is Books I Think Will be Classics One Day. In general, I am not a big fan of classics, but these are some of the ones I wouldn’t mind being a classic. Titles include “I am Not Jessica Chen,” “The Hunger Games,” and “Heartless!”

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s theme is Books I Think Will be Classics One Day.

I have read a handful of classics over the years, and I don’t like them very much. I’m a little confused who decided these books were classics, so my list is more books I hope will be classics than ones I really think will make this list!

Here’s my Top Ten:

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

The Selection by Kiera Cass

Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger

I am Not Jessica Chen by Ann Liang

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber

A Spark of White Fire by Sangu Mandanna

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness

What books do you think should be classics?

I can understand being confused over who decided what books become classics but I feel like in the future, what is considered a classic will be way more diverse. Interesting list, I also had The Hunger Games in mine :)
