It’s time for another Saturday Spotlight! This month’s theme is Spooky, and I have shared A Monster Calls, The Undead Fox of Deadwood Forest, and A Tempest of Tea. You can find these posts here, here, and here.

The final book I am sharing this month is Morgana and Oz by Miyuli. This is such a perfect graphic novel for Halloween. This is originally from Webtoon (which I have gotten just to finish this story!) and follows Morgana and Oz. Morgana belongs to a witch coven and Oz to a rival vampire clan.

Morgana is not the best at being a witch and accidentally turns Oz into a cat and now has to figure out how to switch him back. What makes this a little complicated is that they are from warring communities. So of course shenanigans ensue. This book definitely sets up a romance between Morgana and Oz, but it is still being set up in this book!

Morgana and Oz is definitely my favorite cozy Halloween story, with a perfect spooky atmospheric setting!

What happens when a struggling witch meets an angsty vampire? Either love or war.

Morgana belongs to a long line of witches, and Oz to the rival vampire clan. After a chance encounter . . . and maybe a few stray spells . . . these two need to find a way to work together, or risk all-out war between coven and clan.

It’s a Romeo and Juliet story where a boy and a girl from two rival clans, one a vampire and one a witch, meet cute, like each other, but then the girl makes a serious mistake and turns the boy into a cute kitty.
