Review:

Molly hates Christmas. It’s not even her fault. Her mom and dad had the biggest Christmas song when she was a kid, and she was the elf in the music video. Ever since then she has hated Christmas and avoided it as much as she can. Then the song is used in the biggest Christmas movie of the year. Now the song is everywhere, and Molly is in trouble of being found out. When she meets cute boy at the movie premier, she wonders how long it’s going to be before her identity is revealed. However, Molly isn’t the only one hiding her identity.
This was a cute book, that was perfectly Christmas-y. This is the only book that has taken place in Britain from start to finish I have read this year. To be completely honest, some of the cultural things that were discussed throughout the book were a little confusing to me. It was also astounding how close everything was. In the US it takes hours to days to get to another state, but in Europe they went from England to Ireland in one train ride!
I honestly didn’t really like Molly all that much. She was entertaining and realistic. I especially loved the parts where she was flustered and could barely speak coherently. However, she was a complainer. For most of the books she complained about everything, and then there was a switch. I felt like the switch was very sudden.
Molly and Grace’s friendship was cute and a nice addition to the story. They had many fun adventures together and their friendship was the guiding force of the story.
While I loved Ru/Kyle/Jay I wish there was more time with him. He is a big part of the book, and I wish we got to get to know him a little better.
I will say I thought I knew the twist at the end, but I kept second-guessing myself. The twist was a nice surprise, though a bit predictable.
All the Jingle Ladies was a good holiday book, with a lovely friendship and a cute romance. The protagonist was annoying at times, and the main love interest could have been further developed. It was just the right amount of holiday and took place in Europe.
I highly recommend this adorable Hollywood romance holiday book!
