This week’s theme for Top Ten Tuesday is books with a destination in the title. I couldn’t think of anything, so my Top Ten is going to be about the places I want to go, real or fictional, that appear in books.
Top Ten Tuesday is run by Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl and I am very excited for this weeks theme!

Where Wizards Go to Think from A School for Good and Evil
This is probably the place I want to go to most. It has beautiful stars, fluffy clouds to sit on, and hot chocolate. It sounds so peaceful. I tried to recreate Where Wizards Go to Think when I was crafting, but it didn’t turn out like the real thing.

The Marram Marshes from Septimus Heap
I’m still reading this series, so it is fresh on my mind, but I really want to go to Aunt Zelda’s in the Marram Marshes during the Big Freeze. I’m getting ready for the winter weather, so to spend a nice winter in a cozy cabin in a fantasy world sounds amazing.

Virgina from the Raven Cycle
The Raven Cycle takes place in Henrietta, Virgina. It is beautifully described, and I have spent many an afternoon imaging living here. I love small towns, so Henrietta sounds amazing. Unfortunately, this town is fictional.

Switzerland from Bloomability
I got into Sharon Creech when I was younger and after reading Blommability when I was 11-ish I have wanted to go to Switzerland. This book follows a girl who is sent to boarding school in Switzerland. I have wanted to go skiing in the Alps ever since I read this book (despite the fact that I can’t ski).
Gallagher Academy from Gallagher Girls

The Gallagher Academy is an all girls school for geniuses and it teaches them how to be spies. The school is an old mansion, with secret tunnels and it just sounds like a lot of fun!

Artime from The Unwanteds
The Unwanteds is probably one of my favorite book series. To live in Artime would be amazing! Your room is automatically made for you and pertains to your special creative talent. The doors talk, there is a library, a cafe of sorts, and absolutely beautiful grounds. Simber and Florence also live there, which is a huge bonus for me because they are some of my favorite characters!
The Land of Stories

This series is the one that got me into reading. The books come with a map and when I was younger I would study the map and determine where I wanted to live. I recently reread it and I poured over the map again. I think I want to live in the Red Riding Hood Kingdom, primarily because I love Red and Froggy.

Carthya from the Ascendance series
This kingdom is very medieval and the main reason I want to go here is to meet Jaron, Imogen, Mott, Tobias, Fink, and all of the other amazing characters. There is royalty and pirates, and it would be so fun to follow these characters on their adventures.
Foxfire and Havenfield from Keeper of the Lost Cities

Foxfire is the school that has different levels and mascots, where they teach how to handle your special abilities. Havenfield is where Sophie, Edalyn, and Grady live where they rehabilitate endangered/extinct animals. Calla’s tree is also there, and the house seems amazing.

Kali from the Celestial trilogy
Kali is a kingdom built on a spaceship. It sounds so cool and from the way it’s described it doesn’t even seem like a spaceship. There is also a toy shop there that I really want to explore.
Well, there’s my Top Ten!
Where do you want to go, fictional or real, because you have read a book?
